Each year, Arizona Raft Adventures has a Holiday Break at the end of the season. It tends to be a less busy time of year for the office and warehouse staff, so many years ago, the owner decided to give the warehouse and office staff a Holiday break at the end of each year. A tradition that continued when ownership switched from Rob Elliott to Alexandra and Fred Thevenin. AzRA’s Holiday break allows for the employees to spend quality time with their families for the Holidays.
This year, AzRA will be closed for the break from Tuesday, December 12, 2017 to Tuesday, January 2, 2018. Our phones will be turned back on at 9 AM MST Wednesday, January 3, 2018. We will be happy to take your phone calls and emails that day! If you’d like to get in contact with us during our break, you can email or call us, and we will return your messages as promptly as possible upon our return. Our retail store, Red River Sports, will also be closed during this time, and will re-open for orders on Monday, January 8, 2018.
In addition to our break, we will also be traveling to Reno for our annual America Outdoor conference. Our office will be closed Monday, December 4, 2017 through Thursday, December 7, 2017 as we spend time learning new marketing, social media and reservations tips from leading industry partners. We look forward to sharpening our skills and learning new ones during our conference.
If you would like to make a reservation for 2018 or 2019 during our break, find your preferred trip type (Classic Adventure, All-Paddle Adventure or Motor Adventure), and search for availability based on your interested time of year and how many spaces you’d like. If the date you’d like says “Reserve” next to it, there is space available on that date. If the date says “inquire”, there is no space available at the moment. When you find a date you’d like with availability, finish the reservation process, and we will process your reservation as soon as possible upon our return (your credit card will not be charged until we return).
If you happen to have a payment due while we are away, it will not be considered past due until we return in January. You can make payments in your online trip portfolio during the time of our break (you can find the link in previous emails from us).
