Arizona Raft Adventures offers 6- to -16-day oar and motorized rafting tours through the Grand Canyon National Park on the Colorado River. AzRA is taking applications for professional and reliable guides for Full-Time Seasonal Work. We welcome inquiries from candidates with increased experience in white-water rafting and guiding.*

Valid Wilderness Advanced First Aid (WFR) through a program sponsored in the United States. Higher emergency medical certifications obtained in the United States above WFR also qualify (EMT, WEMT, AEMT, Paramedic, and Emergency Medical Doctor).

Valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification, obtained through an online or in-person class. If certification is obtained through an online class, the guide must have proof (certificate) of hands-on skills testing.

Current food manager certificate from a recognized entity that holds training classes and issues certificates.
Experience Required
Prior to guiding passenger trips through the Grand Canyon, 6 trips down the Grand Canyon, 3 of which piloting your own craft must be fulfilled to meet both Park Service and AzRA regulations.
Availability Expectations:
Due to the nature of our business, we are looking for candidates who can commit to an open and flexible schedule. This includes being availability for the entire guiding season not just the spring and fall.
To increase employment opportunities, we maintain a candidate pool to fill potential vacancies arising from guide cancellations. Resumes will be retained for one year. Applicants should indicate their availability to accommodate schedule changes.
*AzRA does not offer entry-level guiding positions. Individuals with limited or no boating experience are encouraged to gain proficiency through white-water rafting courses and guiding shorter trips on lower-class rivers.
