Gear Requirements for AzRA Guides
Gear Requirements for Paddle and Row Guides 

• Copies of your certifications

• A personal first aid kit that can go hiking –first aid supplies can be stocked at AzRA 

• Personal PFD in good condition/USCG approved

• Whistle and knife for your PFD

• Several locking carabiners

• All rigging for an 18ft loaded paddle boat or an 18ft row boat frame and trailer frame. Find the Oar Boat Strap Map here and the Paddle Boat Strap Map here. 

• Interior chicken lines, perimeter chicken lines and a flip line

• Oar towers -only if you are doing more than one trip a season

• Sand stake

• A gorp container -your first one is provided by AzRA

• Tools -3/16 Allen wrench and pliers/multi tool

• Personal water bottles

• Hiking shoes and a backpack

• On an Oar Boat you should have space for a personal 20mil can on floor and a 50cal can on a rail. On a Paddle Boat you should have room for a puppet box.

• Chalks or monkey fists

• Drag bag

• Umbrella
