Grand Canyon Adventure at its Finest

Grand Canyon Adventure

Adventure and relaxation all in one package.

Tourists, locals, and past guests collectively agree that the most popular Grand Canyon adventure is to raft the Colorado River. It is fun to plan but it can also be a challenging process while you find the perfect type of trip during the right time frame. You may even like to plan your Grand Canyon adventure a couple years before you intend to travel.

How to Sign up for your Grand Canyon Adventure:

1. Pick trip type or dates from the Grand Canyon adventure trip schedule. Full Canyon “no exchange” trip dates might be available. Inquire with reservation staff for details.
2. Call or email our office to check your preferred date availability and reserve your spot(s) on a Grand Canyon adventure (800) 786-7238. Regular business hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Arizona does not observe daylight savings time.
3. If your trip date is not available, place your name on a wait list (guests frequently cancel or change their date). We have many guests each year that end up getting a reservation even though they were originally on a waiting list.  No deposit required for wait list.
4. Submit a non-refundable $400 deposit per person for individual reservations within 10 days of making a reservation.  Deposits may be paid by personal check or Visa/MasterCard.

Cancellation/Refund Policy
All cancellations must be received by us in writing. Deposit money is non-refundable. All trip payments and hotel payments are refundable until 120 days prior to your trip date, less the $400 per person deposit, which is non-refundable. NO refunds are available after 120 day deadline.

We strongly recommend you purchase some type of trip insurance. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions it is necessary to explore your trip insurance options within two weeks of submitting your deposit because most trip insurance companies have pre-existing condition clauses (meaning they will only cover your pre-existing condition if you purchase insurance immediately after making your booking). For more information, please read our page about travel insurance.  Consider purchasing the addition “Cancel for Any Reason” coverage. With the recent events around the globe, we recommend you consider purchasing Cancel for Any Reason coverage. Here are a few ways Travelex clients can utilize the Cancel for Any Reason upgrade option: • Civil unrest breaks out at their destination prior to departure • An oil spill pollutes the beach area they are planning to enjoy • The family pet gets sick or has an accident • ANY other reason! Travelex offers a variety of options with Cancel for any Reason coverage, including a Cancel for Trip Delay reason.

A valid military ID is required to receive the discount and is applicable to the veteran only.

Interested in 2018?

We would love to be your preferred Grand Canyon adventure outfitter for the 2018 river season. We are currently accepting “Reservation Requests” for 2018. Submitting a “Reservation Request” will ensure you are contacted as soon as possible. We will begin taking “official” reservations when we receive final approval from the National Park Service on dates and for prices for the 2018 season. It is quite likely the 2018 schedule will look much like the 2017 schedule in trip types and launch dates. It is also likely prices will hover somewhere around or slightly above 2017 trip prices. If you would like to be on the 2018 Reservation Request list, please contact our office via email ( or call 800-786-7238.  Thank you for your patience. We want to ensure you receive the most accurate information possible.
